Balls? Yes...soccer balls. Joel is now a Blizzard "Rover". He made the team! He was so excited..."When do I get my jersey? When's the first game? How will I know the boys names? Where is the practice? Do I get orange socks?" The list went on! So, just to prove he was right for the team, he scores 2 goals his first game! There was even a concerted effort to pass the ball to his teammates. They all looked good out there. AND...we love the soccer dome. Can't imagine sitting in a cold arena...soccer rules!
Books? Yes...time of year for bookfairs and Carol has been swamped with selling Usborne books. Four bookfairs and a readathon, plus a couple of craft shows and home shows. But they are so good...everyone should own them/read them!
Banff? Yup...Carol gets to work out in Banff next week...so excited. Who wouldn't want to be in the mountains with all that fresh air and the amazing views?
Busy? Who isn't?! With John away almost 3 weeks in the last month, everyone appreciates when he's home! We have put more km's on the truck in the last month than we did all summer, and that included a trip to Vancouver Island!! How do single parents do it? But, it probably comes down to choices...in more ways than one!
We've enjoyed getting comments on our blog, as well as the emails. Keep checking...we really want to keep in touch, and this seems to be the start of something good!
