Parts of Nova Scotia previously unexplored by the Lethaby family!

Ice cream was a VERY large part of the treats we enjoyed on holidays. These cones from near our B & B near Parrsboro were HUGE! Biggest ever claimed the boys, and as you can see...they might be right!

We tried our hand (and arms and legs and backs!) at sea kayaking again this year, but chose the Bay of Fundy for this years' adventure. It started off so foggy we thought we'd get lost at sea, but the fog cleared and we had the BEST day ever.

Double kayaks for four, please.

Cape Chignecto Provincial Park...the furthest westerly point into the Bay of Fundy. Huge cliffs, red stone, amethyst (if very lucky), great skipping rocks and COLD water!

Coastal scenery complete with light house at Spencer's Island. If ever in the area, check out this restaurant called the "Beach Cafe" (poor name but the BEST food...a real hidden gem).

Halifax Harbour would not be complete without Theodore Tugboat. Canadian kids should recognize him from early morning T.V. Even our big boys were excited. "He's real!!" they exclaimed.

Another Halifax Harbour view only improved by adding some Lethaby's! Please don't comment on how Shane is the same height as his mom....it's not true (yet!).

The Halifax Citadel

You can never get enough school...boys spent a good 1/2 hour doing their letters. Not as easy as it looks on squeaky boards and slate!
